RSVP to gain access to Patagonia's live panel discussion about backcountry touring on 19 November 2020,  8pm CEST // 7pm BST // 11am PST.

Our community was built on sliding down snow. On the constant learning to be better backcountry partners. By building gear that’s made for long days of breaking trail, many seasons and many turns. And committing to a lifetime of honing a mountain craft that’s progressive in both how we move through the mountains, but also in how we fight for winter. We don’t want the next generations to go snow-hungry. And while we’re here, we’re going to enjoy the mountains too. So, we started asking: What tracks are we setting? What are we doing for winter? What values are we leaving behind?

What to expect...

Join us for a deep dive into the community energy projects featured in the We the Power film and hear from Leila and Agamemnon who will talk about the benefits that community energy has had on local people and the ways that you can get involved with community energy here in the UK.

However there are still barriers to accessing community energy currently in the UK due to restrictions on the production and selling of energy. Meet Power For People, a not-for-profit organisation campaigning for the UK to rapidly transition to 100% clean energy via the Local Electricity Bill. If the Bill becomes law it will enable people to directly purchase the energy produced in their local community, bringing wide ranging community benefits and increasing the uptake of renewable energy. Learn how you can support the Local Electricity Bill and help Power for People get this Bill passed in UK Parliament.
